I did this interview for a blog site today (I'll post soon) and they asked me, "What makes you so different ? There's hundreds of rappers out here." I hesitated to answer that and really thought about it. Everybody out here (especially in LA) wants to be a rapper and are so-called "dope". No I don't feel that I'm like the next artist, people tell me my music is good based on the little they've seen me do."Hometown Hero" is like an album, 15 all original songs and based on its success will be when I can answer a question like that. I'm still learning and getting better at both rapping and producing. Talk is cheaper than a Payless sneaker. A lot of us speak on shit all the time but never have anything to show for it. "Think it, Say it, Do it"...I'd much rather live through action.

Trying to finish two projects, videos, balance school and maintain a social life isn't the easiest thing. Somehow, someway I'll make it happen. Got a few videoshoots coming up, doing a few features for people, etc. I thank God that I even have the oppurtunities I have and the talent as a producer and rapper. I get messages from people all over now, I don't get big headed and full of myself, I have a lot of growth and maturing ahead as an artist/person. As an upcomer I feel like being humble is the best way to go...I stay away from certain people and just keep positivity in my circle. Shouts to Ran & Sheyanne Peace, I've got nothing but love for yall, success is coming. And to everybody else doing their thing, I've met a lot of people these past couple of weeks...life's good. Be Cool.

Spent the afternoon on Fairfax today, hadn't talked to the folks in a minute. I learned a lot, my bro Bailey at Flight Club LA was just talking to me about marketing schemes to put myself out there and get a bigger buzz, same convo from Lee at Diamond. It's a lot of things that I thought I was doing which I really wasn't. I have a long way to go in this game to make it. People come to me saying they heard my music and I'm dope, I appreciate all the love but I feel like I haven't even proven myself yet...most people just catching on and just hear good songs but haven't seen me to my full potential...I really gotta come with it when I drop "Hometown Hero", yeah I could release at this minute, but I'm going for perfection, I can't wait for the next man, we tryna get on now. Shouts to cARter for the pointers and talk he gave me, I take in all advice, I'm a growing artist...you shall see...2010 is when I'm going for my win.
